Surprise! Turkish Air only lets you have one checked suitcase. Not only that but it can't weigh more than 20 kilos (~40 pounds). I had to pay extra for my luggage. Once in Istanbul I had enough time to go to a whirling dervish exhibition in the old train station. Then I had dinner in a nice restaurant overlooking the river. I ended the day on the roof of my hotel where one can see the blue mosque all lit up.
